Dr. Umansky earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in Austin, where he majored in English Literature with a minor in biochemistry. His dental career began with a one-year internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery, which provided him with specialized training in tooth impactions, IV sedation, oral trauma, pre-prosthetic surgery, oral pathology, and dental implants. He has achieved master’s status at the Academy of General Dentistry and is recognized as a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Umansky has completed over 1,500 hours of continuing education and has earned numerous scholarships and academic honors, including consistent placement on the dean’s list. His professional affiliations include the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as membership in the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
