Dr. David Umansky isn’t just passionate about dentistry—he’s committed to mastering it. As one of less than 2% of dentists nationwide to achieve Master status in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), Dr. Umansky has demonstrated an elite level of dedication to advanced continuing education and clinical excellence. This distinction—AGD’s highest honor—requires over 1,100 hours of comprehensive education across all disciplines of dentistry and reflects a lifelong pursuit of top-tier patient care.
Outside the office, Dr. Umansky is a devoted husband and father who enjoys quality time with his wife and son—often found fishing, grilling, and making memories outdoors.
Dr. Umansky began his academic journey at the University of Texas at Austin, earning his bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in biochemistry. He later completed a one-year internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery, gaining specialized training in complex procedures such as IV sedation, tooth impactions, oral trauma, pre-prosthetic surgery, oral pathology, and dental implants.
As the owner of Aesthetic Dentistry Associates in Atascocita, Dr. Umansky brings over 1,500 hours of advanced continuing education to his practice—blending skill, technology, and a deep understanding of aesthetics to deliver personalized, high-quality care. His credentials include Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and active membership in esteemed organizations such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, and multiple academic honor societies including Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Phi Theta Kappa.
